This blog is intended to motivate and show you what everyone can do to enjoy the outdoors. There is so much more to life then what society gives, and the peace and happiness you find outside is so much more pure and real then the man-made life styles lots of us are tied into these days. Not saying its bad part of the man-made life style, but it really is good for the mind and body to feel the natural part of life as well. Just saying; take advantage of what you have around you that is natural and naturally beautiful and you will feel so much more alive and happy! :)

Buttermilks and the Pollen Grains
So yesterday I got on High Plains Drifter for the first time this trip. Last year I was a move away from getting it done. I did not send but it was fun trying it, the nice thing about this trip is that I have lots of time to project and that takes away from the stress a little.
Me falling from the Drifter move.

Moving through the intro moves, really fun climbing.

Right before the crux.

Look at this! This is Jedi Mind Tricks V4, not very had but hella high it has slick feet. What a great mix right. haha
But just looking at the boulder makes me want to climb it so I had to get on it. But I wimped out and bailed at about half way. Ill need another pad for sure and a spotter.

These next pictures are of a new place I have never been to called the Pollen Grains. I was blown away by the scenery, its a short hike but there was no one there and the boulder are some of the most beautiful in the Buttermilks. Plus each boulder is a different shape and they are all giant!

This is a V2 called Cover Me With Flowers, it was really fun but scary as hell. It had a rocky landing and I only brought one pad so I had to make sure to place it in the right spot. But I summoned up some courage and made it to the top.

Summit! YeYa!

  1. The pictures of you falling gave me the shivers :) "Cover me with Flowers" what a cool name. How great that you found that new area. I love the pic of you sitting on top of that beautiful boulder. What a life you're leading!! Looks like it's gotten hot again.
