Buttermilks Are Back.
So most of the snow has melted away at the Buttermilks so now you can actually top out the boulders and not have to drop down. And plus the weather has been really awesome lately, its been sunny and warm. Yesterday I went to the Buttermilks and I think today I will go there again.
Yesterday was sick, I fired off the Bowling Pin Sit Start v6 first try! It was a good way to start off the day. Then I went to this boulder I never been to called the Upside Boulder. It has one super nice problem on it called Upside v8. I got on it and made it surprisingly far. Im pretty stoked on it its supper small sharp crimping on small half pad crimps. (Tares up the skin fast..) But yeah Im going to make Upside my new project for now, feel like I can get it done if I try hard. After Upside I got on some more moderate problems. Check out the pics!

| There is the Bowling Pin! Cant quite tell from this angle but the boulder looks like a bowling pin, its pretty sweet. And the Bowling Pin problem climbs extremely well! Super cool holds and moves, but its a little sharp. |
| This was the hardest V0 I have ever done, its called the Birthday Mantel. It kicked my butt. But I had lots of fun on it, you do this crazy mantel on the face of the boulder and match your feet with your hands! Gotta be really flexable for this problem. |
| Here I am pushing up into the mantel. With my left hand. |
| On top of the Bowling Pin, Great way to start off the day. |
| The scary and potentially dangerous mantel over the lip. Dont want to slip here it is kinda high. |
Down-Climbing the Birthday Boulder. The girl there had some really flashy skinny jeans on. I liked them. I need some new skinny jeans... |
| Here is Upside v8! Cant really tell here in this pic, but those crimps are hella small and brutaly sharp!! but man this problem climbs nicely. You start on a jug, move to a big gastone flake then move to a right hand side pull. Pull a knee bar (that cuts up your knee..) and then the power moves come in to play. |
| This is The Rising V4, clean patina crimps, and great flow. |
| Start moves on Upside. |
| Big Move to a gastone that is hard to get a good grip on, but once you get into it, it turns into a better hold. |
| Man! getting close here but still couldnt find the next holds... They seem to disapear.. |
yeah...get your skinny jeans, Dyl :) You're so funny. Dad finished the clip. I think its about 10 minutes. its really cool. Will let you know when its posted.
