Hey guys!! Its been a while since iv posted any photos but here are some from J-Tree and some from Bishop. We just got back to Bishop the day before yesterday, and spent the all day yesterday at the Buttermilks! It was a little snowy but there was plenty of stuff that was dry and climbable.
Today was really fun, we went to the Owens River Gorge and got on some really fun routes. One was called Nice Jugs which was a 5.9, and it did have nice jugs haha. And then I got on a 12a and blew it by messing up some foot work... maybe next time. Great routes both of them.

| This was a really fun 5.10a that we all climbed called Silent Screams! It was really cool because Will, Dad, and I all climbed it with out falling first try!! Very fun. |
| These next two pics are of Silent Screams again, Will got up on a rock with the Go Pro and got a good angle. We attached the Go Pro to a painters pole and it really helps to get the upper angles. |
| Some sloppy moves here. |
| Clipping the second bolt on the 10a. |
This is a picture of Dad raping down this really cool two pitch tower that we climbed. Its called Moosedog Tower 5.9. Will did the lead on this one and it was pretty intense! It was all trad climbing. Good job Will! I will post more pictures of this route. latter. |
| This was an 11b that I climbed, pretty cool small technical edging. Small crimps and some funky crossover for a crux! Pretty fun |
This was cool! Here is Will on lead climbing a 5.8 trad climb. I thought it was more like 5.9! haha there were no feet in one section and my feet were skating all over the place! There is now way I would wanna lead it on gear. Another great job Will!! Way to get it done. |
| Will getting up there. |
| This is the rap off of Moosedog. Fun rappel because it was overhanging. |
| Here is a picture of me climbing this fun v2 at the Buttermilks. It was a short pumpy little boulder problem, very fun moves. Great way to finish the bouldering session! |
| Here is another picture of Will on the Sharp End! Getting close to the top. |
Theres Will and Me getting stoked on the bouldering at the Buttermilks. Sooo Good there, everyone had a blast! And everyone climbed extremely well!!! Will, Britney, Dad, and I all climbed and finished a bunch of classic v1s and 0s, and we all made it up the Buttermilk Stem which was really fun!! |
| There is Willis Doin what he does best, CRUSHING! |
| This is cool, here is will climbing a #2 peace of gear. Nice close up with the Go Pro. |
| Will climbin the v2!! great job Will. |
And another bad ass pic of Will deciding on which peace of gear hes gunna use. I would have no clue what place.. haha. Nice work Will.
Well we have soooo much footage and picture but none of it is on my computer.. Its all on Dads External HD. But before he leaves, im going to get some of the SICK NASTY photos and post them. The week in J-Tree was super sick and we climbed some CRAZY stuff. Like a three pitch 5.8 that had 40 foot plus run outs.. that was interesting lead, and we got some really good footy of EBGB which is this beautiful 5.10d slab climb. Scary as HELL!! No joke I thought I was gunna die. haha sorta.
But yeah we have like two more days in Bishop, then Dad flys out on Saturday morning... Gunna miss him very much :( then im gunna be on my own again. But its cool we have had such a great time so far. Tomorrow might be a rest day or just a casual day of bouldering at the happys or the Sads.
Anyways its time to go to camp and make some bomb food!! And dont forget to check up on the blog soon because im gunna post the sick nasty pics. Well good bye and ill TTYL!! Happy new years and stuff too. |
Love the pictures, Dyl. Looks like you all are having a lot of fun!
