This blog is intended to motivate and show you what everyone can do to enjoy the outdoors. There is so much more to life then what society gives, and the peace and happiness you find outside is so much more pure and real then the man-made life styles lots of us are tied into these days. Not saying its bad part of the man-made life style, but it really is good for the mind and body to feel the natural part of life as well. Just saying; take advantage of what you have around you that is natural and naturally beautiful and you will feel so much more alive and happy! :)

Some Gorge pictures. Today we went to the Owens River Gorge, and did some awesome sport climbing. I went with Guinn (aka Chris) and Amy again. Got on lots of new stuff and one rout that I tried last year and could not do. And it went well. :)

Here is Guinn on the warm up for the day, it was such a fun climb. It was a full 70m to lower of and climbed really well. It was a 5.10c and had just really fun thuggy moves on jugs and cool slots  up this nice slightly overhanging wall. Excellent!

This was a nice 5.10c as well.

And here is a pic of the beautiful Stream that runs through the area. Well its the Owens river I guess. But its not much of a river.

Yeah so about the climb that I got on last year. Its called Darshan 5.12b and its sooooo gooooooddddd!!! Its super techy crimping up a slightly overhanging wall with a really complex crux after the second bolt. Then its long lock offs on good crimps to a nice rest. THEN! The wall changes on you, it gets even more over hung and there are no rest jugs till the top! This is where the second crux is, it a big lock off to a small pinch then you bump to a better crimp and move up. I feel at the second crux not because I couldnt do it, but because I just got so pumped I couldnt even hold a good crimp... It was kinda sad but I dint mind so much  because it felt easy. Next time I Get on it I will make sure I dont get pumped!
